Biography

Larissa Celaya represents employers in all areas of employment law, with an emphasis on litigation defense. She defends clients against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations, and also provides proactive counsel to help employers navigate California’s complex and ever-evolving employment laws.

Larissa brings nearly a decade of combined experience in the legal field to her practice. She began her career as a legal secretary, steadily advancing through the ranks while gaining a deep understanding of the litigation process from the ground up. While working full-time at a busy civil litigation firm, she attended Lincoln Law School at night—an experience that sharpened her skills in legal analysis, case strategy, and client advocacy early in her career.

Larissa continued to support the next generation of legal professionals by serving as a Reader at Lincoln Law School for several years, where she helped students strengthen their legal writing and analytical abilities.

Prior to joining Duggan McHugh Law Corporation, Larissa gained experience in both civil litigation and employment law in state and federal courts. She is known for her practical, solution-focused approach and her commitment to helping employers manage risk while achieving their business goals.
