Rebal Halabi is an associate attorney at Duggan McHugh. She represents employers in advice and counsel and litigation defense, including issues regarding compliance, employee discipline, termination, workplace investigations, and FEHA-related complaints. Rebal’s previous experience includes litigating for one of Sacramento’s largest litigation firms, as well as working as an attorney for the Sacramento Public Defender’s Office.
Rebal received her B.A. from the University of California, Davis and earned her J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2020. While at McGeorge, Rebal worked as an intern at the Attorney General’s Office within the Employment and Mandate Section and assisted on a variety of employment law cases involving claims of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation. Rebal also earned the Trial and Appellate Advocacy Concentration and participated in programs surrounding client engagement, including the Client Counseling Competition Team where she was trained on how to effectively communicate and listen to the needs of clients. Rebal also served as a representative for McGeorge’s Student Bar Association where she advocated for the needs of the student body.
Rebal understands that client engagement is central to successful defense litigation She is committed to involving her clients and incorporating their goals, concerns, values, and feedback throughout the litigation process.
As an avid drawer, Rebal takes time to complete a drawing. She has a deep understanding of the art of staying focused which allows her to picture the problem and draw a solution for her clients.
Rebal enjoys spending time with her family, her dog, Hudson, and cheering for the San Francisco Giants.
