Izzy Strait joined Duggan McHugh as an associate attorney in 2025. Prior to joining Duggan McHugh, she practiced trust and estate litigation. While attending night classes at Lincoln Law School of Sacramento, Izzy worked full-time as a paralegal in trust and estate litigation. During her undergraduate years, she also interned at the Washoe County District Attorney’s Office in Reno, Nevada. Izzy’s practice now focuses on helping employers defend against a wide range of employment claims, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations—both individual and class-wide claims, as well as those under the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA). She also provides guidance on best practices and policies to manage risk, ensuring compliance and aligning business operations with their goals in an effective and efficient manner.

Izzy earned her B.A. from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2020 and her Juris Doctor from Lincoln Law School of Sacramento in 2024.

In her spare time, Izzy enjoys cooking, baking, traveling, and spending time with her boyfriend and their two cats.
