Ms. Duggan is active in many Sacramento professional and community organizations. In addition, she teaches The Business of Lawyering at UC Davis School of Law and has taught Civil Pretrial Litigation at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, authored articles for legal journals, and presented at seminars and conferences.
Ms. McHugh received recognition by Lawyers of Distinction in the years 2017 and 2018. Lawyers of Distinction recognizes the top 10% of labor and employment lawyers in the country.
Ms. McHugh has represented employers before the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board (CUIAB), the California Occupational Safety and Health Appeals Board (OSHAB), and the California State Labor Commissioner. She has also represented employers in court, in binding arbitrations, mediations, and administrative proceedings.
